The Challenge
The owners of this East Amherst, NY kitchen had a vision to not only redo, but enlarge their overall kitchen space. The challenge was to convert the existing kitchen and dining room into a large, luxury, modern farmhouse kitchen with new cabinets, floors, backsplash, windows and countertops.
After
The Solution
The steps taken to completely remodel this East Amherst, NY Kitchen Remodel included:
- Demolition – The first step was demo. We removed the carpet and paneling and light fixture from the existing dining room. We removed the current floor and cabinets of the current kitchen. The last step was demolishing the wall to double the space of the new kitchen.
- Floor Installation – We installed new wood flooring throughout the space.
- Cabinet Installation – The next step was installing the new cabinets and countertops. New gold hardware was installed on the cabinets for a sleek, modern look.
- Lighting – We installed recessed lighting and new gold pendants from the ceiling.
- Window Replacement – We opened up the space by replacing existing current windows and adding new ones.
- Custom Range – We custom built the wood range over the stove to match with the shaker style cabinets.
- Custom Island – We installed a matching island for extra seating.
